Current production planning models typically do not account for the non-linear congestion effects, which arise during production, to plan production releases and allocate available capacity. This work focuses on the development of integrated models and solution algorithms that set planned lead times for different products and production units in production networks while taking into account resource utilization and demand uncertainty.
