Project description
 

The aim was to develop an evidence-based intervention to prevent overweight among 10-to-12-year-olds. The ENERGY-project comprised a comprehensive epidemiological analysis including systematic reviews, secondary data analyses, focus group research, and a cross-European school-based survey to inform the stepwise intervention development applying the Intervention Mapping protocol. The pilot evaluation occurred in five countries and results were disseminated among key stakeholders.
