Project description

After ovarian stimulation, only immature oocytes are collected in some patients, which show resistance for further maturation in vitro. There are currently no treatments to overcome this. Using mouse models showing a maturation arrest, we will analyse the normalcy of spindles and the calcium releasing capacity. Furthermore, using adapted culture conditions and nuclear transfer techniques, we will try to mature these oocytes. These findings will be extrapolated to the human model.
