Project description

This research studies the processes through which notions of community are deployed and used in the context of a community-based conservation project in Rahmeh, Jordan. Through an ethnographic analysis of these processes, the implications for the project’s outcomes in terms of the way a conservation area and its community are defined will be illuminated.
