Project description
The research analyses the impact of European citizenship on the national systems of sociale protection. More specifically, attention will go to the legal implications of its role as the key to national solidarity mechanisms, the protection against 'welfare shopping', the possibilities for a future European legal framework and the significance for the competency and legitimacy of the European Union.
