Project description

Injury rate is increasing in professional team sports, but at-risk players for injury and overreaching could be identified by urinary biomarkers. Further insights in these biomarkers, how they can be measured accurately, and if they objectively reflect players’ internal load, could lay the foundation for individualizing training load to reduce injury incidence and overreaching.
