Project description
The skin forms a protective barrier to divers environmental stimuli. Proper keratinocyte differentiation and migration is essential to form a functional epidermis and to prevent skin pathologies. Since we showed that the RIPK4 kinase plays a crucial role in the later processes we will investigate the role of RIPK4 in skin homeostasis, inflammation and cancer.
