Project description

This project proposal aims at developing novel 'untargeted' bioassays that allow dynamic monitoring of protein-protein interactions (PPIs) within the oxygen sensing hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-pathway. Three PPIs will be studied/targeted in the context of doping and cancer research:
HIF1a-HIF1b heterodimerization, the interaction between HIF1a and the Von Hippel Lindau tumor suppressor protein (pVHL) and the interaction between HIF1a and coactivator p300.
