Project description

Plants respond to a plethora of signals in their environment. One such signal is sound. However, the molecular mechanism of sound perception in plants is not yet clearly understood. My project aims to study the possible molecular elements that play a role in sound perception and downstream signaling in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana.
