Project description
Seagrass meadows, crucial for maintaining healthy ecosystems and climate resilience, face increasing challenges due to climate change and anthropogenic impacts. Despite increasing restoration efforts, success rates remain suboptimal. This PhD aims to develop restoration strategies and tools to reverse the decline of seagrass ecosystems by investigating seed germination, plant development, and restoration techniques towards effective and climate-proof practices.
