Project description

Our Open Platform for the creation of Social Robots - OPSORO - uses an innovative modular system design that allows the creation of different embodiments to present animatronic characters with a focus on face-to-face communication. Our goal is to offer a platform for the development of robot characters, usually for therapeutic or entertainment purposes. In this starTT project we aim to create a web platform, application tools, a software development kit (SDK) and wish to expand our online community to support and improve OPSORO. There is also a need for a good business plan and a thorough market study. An important question here is to check whether our open source approach is the right strategy. At the end of this project we need a clearly substantiated vision of the necessary follow-up process for the OPSORO company.
