Northeastern Avalonia includes many different palaeo-oceanic depths aand allows to test hypotheses for the explanation of global phenomena. The Silurian of the little known Condroz Inlier will be examined lithostratigraphically and biostratigraphically (Chitinozoans, other palynomophs). Four transsects willb e correlated with the other, more known sedimentation areas of northeastern Avalonia.
