Project description
 

Caspase-14 plays an important role in epidermal terminal differentation (=cornification), while Receptor Interacting Protein-4 (RIP4) deficient mice display a general defect in keratinocyte differentiation. We will study the molecular signal transduction pathways leading to these phenotypes. Therefore, we will make use of in vitro and in vivo models.
