This project will exploit and combine the divergent expertises present in the two labs and
will aim to reach at least three concrete objectives, through a continuous interaction between the two labs:
1) Development of an innovative gold-based catalyzed synthesis that will allow to synthesize a unique and diverse
portfolio of alternative pyrazole/oxadiazole based molecules with additional and optimized functionalities, also
incorporating a functional handle in order to heterogenize the active molecule.
2) The identification of the molecular targets affected by these pyrazole/oxadiazole based molecules (using active
molecules bound to a resin or a carrier protein).
3) Proof-of-concept for the use of pyrazole/oxadiazole-based chemicals as stress-alleviating molecules in crops.
