Project description

The main objective of this research proposal is to improve the known Karlhede bounds for perfect fluid type D spacetimes (in particular the aligned type D fluids). An important spin-off is the possibility of obtaining new perfect fluid exact solutions because our method enables a complete integration of the differential equations involving the Ricci rotation coefficients and their derivatives.
