The subsidy is used to create a framework for developing, executing, and reinforcing activities which relate to the following policy goals:  

1.  Training young researchers;
2. Improving career development and career perspectives for young researchers;
3. Reinforcing the international orientation of the careers of young researchers;
4. Collaborating with other knowledge institutions in Flanders in order to promote the policy goals listed above.
