Although endoreplication is generally considered as a driver of cell growth, many examples exist in which a

link between the cell’s ploidy level and size is lacking. In this project we use the Arabidopsis root hair and

hypocotyl cells as a model system to correlate cellular parameters with the process of endoreplication, both

in wild type and endocycle deficient mutants.
