Project description

Highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses (HPAIV) pose a possible threat not only for avian species, but also for mammals including humans. The aim of FLUPATH is to fill the scientific gaps regarding the ecology and pathogenesis of HPAIV in poultry and mammaliam species, thus, significantly improving our knowledge about the disease.
