Project description

The signaling molecule MALT1 has mainly been studied because of its function in lymphocyte activation. Recent in vivo studies confirmed this pivotal role for MALT1 in inflammation and immune activation which puts MALT1 on stage as a potential mediator of certain autoimmune diseases. With this project we want to assess its importance during the development of inflammatory bowel disease.
