Project description

The study of beta-lactams has become a topic of considerable interest in many disciplines, especially in terms of their synthetic elaborations and biological applications. The project in hand has the ambition to contribute to this field through the generation of new fundamental insights into the chemistry of beta-lactams and the application of this knowledge to construct biologically relevant new beta-lactam compounds.
