FLUTRAIN is a European Commission project aiming to train scientists from developing countries in the rapid and reliable diagnosis of avian influenza (AI). For this purpose seminars and workshops will be organised in different European laboratories. The on-time diagnosis of AI will contribute to the control of the disease and will reduce the risk of the transmission of AI viruses to humans.
