Project description

Different yarn types, production conditions and bindings will be evaluated (by measuring the electrical contact resistance, both static and dynamic, and as a function of time) for a range of different applications that have different requirements, so that the results for a wide range of applications can be extrapolated to be. Specifically, data transfer, heating, lighting and (photovoltaic) energy transfer are considered. The production characteristics and properties of samples will be collected in a database and a physical sample book will be created. The Project also provides for the conceptual development of a number of products for demonstration, including technical and economic evaluation.
