Project description

Starting from the letter collection of Guibert of Gembloux, this historical-anthropological study aims at evaluating the way in which traditional Benedictinism in the Southern Low Countries positioned itself both socially and spiritually in the decades following immediately after the alleged crisis of traditional cenobitism (Van Engen, 1986).
