Project description

Dietary supplements become of increasingly great interest, as they are now consumed by more and more people. A major point of concern is the lack of control in the trade of some products and the high amount of contaminants that can be found. The objective of this project is to contribute to the risk assessment of chemicals, natural compounds and contaminants present in dietary supplements. The place of these products in the diet and their impact on human health will also be analysed.
