The overall objective of this project is to extend the lifetime/usability of constructions, made of wood and / or cement, by applying environmental friendly silicon-based water repellents. It is worth noting that silicones have a beneficial environmental profile. The final demonstrator for this project will be an object combining Si-treated wood and concrete.
