Folate deficiency has important consequences for the correct functioning of the immune system, with different cell types having different folate requirement and/or a different response following folate deprivation. We aim at evaluating whether these distinct responses of distinct cells of the immune system may be the result of different intracellular concentrations and/or composition of folates. Analyses will be performed by LC-MS/MS.
