The aim of the presented study is the identification of the gene defects and signalling pathways that are important in neuroblastoma development and progression. To identify relevant neuroblastoma genes, we will make use of a global methylation analysis, a genome wide screening of nonsense mutations by means of inhibition of the 'nonsense mediated decay' pathway and microRNA profiling.
