Project description
To enhance airplane safety, this project utilizes virtual airplane emergency evacuation experiments to study passenger behavior during airplane accidents. Applying surveys, interviews, analytical and econometric modeling methods, it investigates the whole airplane evacuation time estimation, individual evacuation time estimation, exit choice behavior modeling, latent human factors modeling, and the impact of exit configurations on emergency choice behavior modeling.
