Project description

The project's aim is to find a new systematic methdological working method to appraise danger of organized crime (incorporating the two most promising and feasible approaches of organized crime namely threat assessment focusing on perpetrators and vulnerability studies focusing on criminal opportunities in the environment) and to test it in Belgium. The focal point lies thereby on the economic sectors transport, catering, import-export and the political sphere, and the perpetrators and/or groups that exploit the vulnerability of these sectors.
