High operating frequencies of novel electronic devices make it increasingly hard for the designer to meet all specifications. In particular, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is a major concern. Moreover, as feature sizes decrease, manufacturing leads to uncertainty of the circuits’ behavior. In this Ph.D., design tools for complex planar circuits will be hugely improved by including EMC aspects and Uncertainty Quantification
