The aim of the project is the design of exact and heuristic methods for personnel and patients scheduling in hospitals. Taking the complexity and size into account, we will rely upon meta-heuristic optimisation procedures, such as simulated annealing and electromagnetism. Both the scheduling of the individual problem types, as well as the optimization and integration with other health care resources are within the scope of the research proposal.
