Project description
 

This research project concerns a multidisciplinary study of the impact of termite activities on the composition and reactivity of the (i) colloidal components, (ii) characteristics of organic material and (iii) microstructure of tropical soils. Therefore large termite mounds and deep soil profiles under and around the mounds will be sampled on the different gological substrates in the region of Lubumbashi (RD Congo).
