Project description
This project aims at developing a sustainable management strategy for the invasive tomato leafminer Tuta absoluta in Flanders. As chemical control must be limited (a.o. to stay in line with the recent EU directive 2009/128/EC), currently deployed biological control measures are optimized and the potential of possible new natural enemies is evaluated. Experiments are performed under laboratory and semi-field conditions.
