Project description

As almost no data are available on mycotoxin contamination in Cameroon, a general mycotoxin survey will be conducted in different geographical/climate regions of the country. Easy-to-use field tests for mycotoxin analysis will be used in Cameroon. Local farmers will be trained in good agricultural practices to reduce and prevent mycotoxin contamination. Also preliminary clinical studies will be performed to measure mycotoxin exposure in children.
