This research aims to analyze the procedural challenges that blockchain brings to civil litigation, including jurisdiction, applicable law, identification, electronic evidence, service of process, and remedy alternatives.
Additionally, this study aspires to identify opportunities to enhance civil litigation procedures through integration of blockchain, particularly for the EU Member States’ courts, by conducting a comparative
study of representative jurisdictions.
