Climate and habitat change are global threats to biodiversity, with possible synergistic effects. This study uses an ecophysiological approach to (i) assess thermoregulatory capacity, (ii) predict effects on habitat suitability, and (iii) elucidate mechanisms linking climate and habitat change to life-history adaptations in tropical birds. This research is expected to provide important insights for broader conservation efforts.
