Programmed cell death (PCD) is crucial for plant health, development, and reproduction. Plant reproduction in particular depends on timely executed PCD, yet there is still little information on its molecular regulation. In this project we will employ latest technological approaches to identify and characterize novel regulators of PCD important for plant reproduction.
