Project description

Citrus production in Benin is considerably undermined by termites. The current project is developed between the Universities of Ghent (Belgium) and Parakou (Benin) to find cost-effective, environmentally-sound and sustainable termite control alternatives to synthetic chemicals’ use for citrus production. The project proposes the use of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPN) and plant extracts as new technologies.
