Project description

Eight hundred kittens are divided in two groups: VC (neutered at 8-12 weeks of age) or LC (neutered at 6-8 months of age). The aim is to define anesthetic and surgical protocols for early-age gonadectomy in cats. Furthermore the frequencies of obesity, Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease, spontaneous fractures and behavior problems among two groups of cats are compared.
