Project description
QCM-D can be used to study different sorption-phenomena by determining the mass, structure morphology and visco-elastic properties of thin absorbed films on surfaces. Real-time measurement allow to determine sorption kinetics. Moreover, the technique allows to distinguish between absorbed solvent molecules and other molecules, which means expulsion during cleaning can also be measured.
