Project description
Using novel gain- and loss-of-function mouse models we are investigating the in vivo roles of SIP1 in hematopoietic stem cell biology. In combination with cell-based assays and detailed molecular analysis we hope to unravel the molecular mechanism behind the obtained phenotypes and determine the specific functions of SIP1 in hematopoiesis and its relevance in leukemia formation and progression.
