Project description

To date, very little criminological research has been carried out using DNA databases, and their validity as a data source has largely been unexplored. The present study reviews the specific weakness and strength of DNA databases as a source of criminological research, respectively the selectivity of the source compared to police data and the ability to study unknown offenders.
