Project description

The Belgian Co-ordindated Collections of Micro-organisms (BCCM) contains collections of several groups of micro-organisms. Recently, collections of diatoms (Ghent University), polar cyanobacteria and mycobacteria were added to the consortium. In the present project, these will be further developed as public service offering Biological Resource Centers, their integration in the BCCM completed and the available biological material expanded.
