Project description

The goal is to study black holes in holography and string theory through several paths. In collaboration with H. Verlinde (Princeton), we will study defining local bulk operators in holography in 3-dimensional models. In collaboration with H. Verschelde (UGent) and V. Zakharov (ITEP) we will study string theory near black hole horizons.
