Project description

Climate change puts pressure on wastwater treatment plants (WWTP) in two ways: extreme hydraulic and pollution loading, undermining effluent quality production of strong greenhouse gas (GHG) like CH4 and N2O. In this project, detailed CFD models will allow acquiring new knwoledge, which will be implemented in state-of-the-art mathematical models. The latter will then be used to develop real-time control strategies.
