Project description

Electrophysiological recordings and state-of-the-art analyses will be performed in patients with chronic neck pain with and without a traumatic onset as these two patient populations have similar clinical presentations but a distinct response to therapy. Comparing their brain characteristics with matched healthy controls could help to identify the origin of the diverse and limited clinical efficacy of current treatment strategies.
