Project description
To promote sustainability, climate neutrality, reduce reliance on cars, and enhance the overall quality
of life in urban areas more and more cities are working towards the 15-minutes city concept. Urban
Vehicle Access Regulations can play a crucial role in achieving the vision of a 15-minute city.
UVAR4US will test adapt and validate an innovative UVAR-decision support tool in 4 living lab cities
across Europe: Helsingborg (Sweden), Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain), Kozani and Ioannina (Greece). The
project will research how UVAR building blocks and solutions contribute to and affect the livability of
urban neighborhoods and support a sustainable mix of residential, commercial and leisure services
within a 15-minute access.
