Project description

There is an increasing demand for strengthening and retrofitting reinforced concrete (RC) structures, to respond for the need for service life extension, dealing with increase in load demands, changes in the use of structures, errors in design or during construction. This PhD research aims at development and application of novel cement based repair material called strain-hardening cementitious composite (SHCC) to strengthen RC beams in shear.
