Project description

A fundamental study of the catalyzed CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) growth of semiconductor nanowires and their functionalization using ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition). The use of different metals as a growth catalyst for these wires is studied. The possibility to use binary catalysts is looked into by using a unique combinatorial approach.
