The establishment of an integrated European banking and capital market has made remarkable progress during the last decennia. This resarch proposal aims to analyse de efficiency and efficacy of the existing, nationally organized enforcement systems regarding financial regulation, and regarding the cooperation systems between national supervisors, with regard to the formulation of the optimal enforcement structure in the context of a EU integrated market.
